UK Young Music Entrepreneur AwardsCommendation for exceptional entrepreneurship and championing the green agenda within the music industry. As part of the British Council's Young Creative Entrepreneur programme, Breed managing director Tom Hunt was selected as one of six national finalists for the UK Young Music Entrepreneur Award 2009. Tom was subsequently awarded the Special Commendation at Brighton's Great Escape event in May 2009 by Big Chill Group co-founder Katrina Larkin. Judges' citation: Tom is a true entrepreneur, he understands his market and has demonstrated an ability to identify and exploit opportunities through well thought-out plans. In doing this he has held true to his 'green credentials', creating a business that is delivering the change that we need to see within the industry. The judges particularly wish to commend him for his approach and his energy.
